Melissa Z Monroe is a mother, potter, painter and avid gardener. She is happy to combine all of these passions at her home in Mokena Il.  Melissa was grew up in Galesburg Ill and graduated from Knox College in '93 with a BA in liberal arts.  She lived in Chicago for many years making pottery out of her studio in the South Loop.  When Melissa is not creating work in her studio she is found the first and third Sundays of the month at the Chicago Botanic Gardens.
